DEIB Mission Statement
At Charles Armstrong School, we commit to the ongoing personal and professional work necessary to:

Our Approach
At Armstrong, we recognize that diversity isn’t just about our learning differences. Diversity encompasses— among other things— dis/ability, race, socio-economic class, cultural heritage, gender, age, and sexual orientation. It’s what makes a community unique and rich and ever growing.
At Armstrong, we know that everyone contributes a piece to the beautiful and complex DEIB puzzle. We want all members of our community to feel respected, valued, and encouraged to show up as their fully authentic selves. To this end, every member of our community—students, faculty, staff, senior leadership, and our Board of Trustees—regularly engages in workshops, training, readings, and discussions grounded in rigorous research and expertise—to build on our sensitivity to, and understanding of, our eclectic community.
