Students develop skills, find new passions, and contribute to the community through Armstrong’s Lower School Clubs and Middle School Electives.
Lower School Clubs are student-led and meet once a week. Some of the clubs students have organized recently include the Lower School Newspaper Club, Soccer Club, Activism Club, and Pride Club.
Middle School Electives are led by teachers and meet three times a week. Students can choose up to four electives each year. Some recent Middle School Electives include Yearbook, Speech and Debate, Skateboarding, and Us vs. Hate. Athletic Teams and Performing Arts participants utilize the electives period for practices.
