There’s a lot to learn about educating students with dyslexia! Armstrong offers monthly Parent/Guardian Education (P/GED) events during the school year. PG/ED features our expert faculty and staff presenting on our unique curricula, pedagogy, and student’s needs. Sample topics include a focus on literacy and math programs, student social-emotional development, parenting strategies, and the Dyslexia Simulation–a first-hand, profound experience to feel what it’s like to actually have dyslexia through various guided scenarios. PG/ED events are followed by parent/guardian discussion gatherings.
