CAPSO and Volunteering
Charles Armstrong Parent School Organization (CAPSO)
CAPSO is the parent/guardian group that provides volunteer leadership and support for a variety of school programs, activities, and events. All Armstrong parents/guardians are members of CAPSO. CAPSO’s main goals are:

Enhancing the student experience

Supporting and celebrating faculty and staff

Providing resources to execute and improve the program
Volunteering
It takes a village to make Armstrong a robust, engaging, welcoming, and supportive community! Armstrong encourages families to get involved and volunteer whenever possible. There is no mandatory volunteer commitment. However, we do strongly encourage families to commit a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service during the school year. There are many ways to volunteer that fit the capacity of families in terms of time commitment, purpose, location, ability/interests, etc.
