Top 3 Parent Questions Answered

List of 3 frequently asked questions.

  • Ho long does reading intervention take?

Each student has a unique profile and varying experiences in past schools, and thus, it takes a varying amount of time.

Timeline: Generally, the beginning of programs takes the longest as students build new habits and release habits that no longer serve them (e.g. guessing).
  • Does my child need to go through all the literacy programs to read on grade level?

No, we use multiple evidence-based programs to meet individual student needs. Each program is designed to support students' growth in reading fluency and comprehension.

Key points: Programs are tailored to your child's specific needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
  • What do Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 mean?

Tier 2: refers to additional scaffolds or additional time and repetition with instruction to support reading
