Structured Literacy FAQ

Student Success Story

I have seen Wilson work from the very start and have seen it change the lives of students that I have worked with over the past decade in both my role as a teacher and my role as coach. The first student I used Wilson with, crawled under the table during reading assessments at the end of 3rd grade and had a lot of barriers to unlocking reading. I worked with this student during my first Wilson practicum and by the end of fourth grade, he was reading multisyllabic compound words with closed syllables. Today, our students are unlocking their reading potential every day, with many of our Wilson graduates achieving grade-level benchmarks for reading comprehension.
