October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, with many Armstrong activities and events celebrating our neuro-diverse learners and the school’s mission. Wilbur Week will be part of the festivities, honoring our visionary founder, Wilbur Mattison, with emphasis on his legacy of “Enthusiastic Optimism.”
On Friday, October 10, from 7:45–8:45 am, we’re turning morning drop-off into a mini party! Parents and Guardians are invited to:
- Park on campus (parking directed on the Lower Blacktop)
- Accompany your student to the Courtyard to take a photo at our festive Dyslexia Awareness “Wilbur Week” photo booth
- Grab a donut (or two!)
- Walk your student to class with a smile (8:10 am)
You’re welcome to stick around and socialize after walking your student to class or head out to start your day.
