Our Approach

At Armstrong, we believe how children learn is as important as what they learn. Additionally, we believe academic success is inextricably linked to building social-emotional competencies. 
 
We take a holistic and systemic approach to social-emotional learning by employing Responsive Classroom principles and techniques to foster more developmentally responsive teaching, engaging academics, effective classroom management, and a positive community.
