Application Process

Now Accepting Applications for the 2024 - 2025 School Year!

We are thrilled that you believe our program may serve the needs of your child. We have a rolling admission program and accept applications until we are filled.

If you are thinking of applying, we strongly encourage you to submit your application today. Do not wait.

Application Steps:

  • Step 1: Schedule one of the following

  • Step 2: Complete our online application

    Submit documentation at any time during this process:
    Fill out the Online Application and pay the non-refundable processing fee of $190. We accept applications on a rolling basis, based on space available.
    • Grades 2-5 Applications accepted all year
    • Grades 6-8 Limited space based on availability
  • Step 3: Upload Supporting Documents

    • Most Recent Report Card
    • Psychoeducational Evaluation Report
      • (may be from IEP or 504 Plan) MUST include Cognitive Ability Assessments such as WISC (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children) and Academic Achievement assessments, such as Woodcock-Johnson Achievement Test or WIAT (Wechsler Intelligence Achievement Test)
    • Confidential Student Evaluation Form
    • Current IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
    • Tutor, Counselor, Speech or OT Reports (if applicable)
  • Step 4: Admissions Committee Review

    Once we receive your application documents, we will contact you if the Admissions Committee believes scheduling your child for a visit at Armstrong is appropriate. Grades 2-3 will be scheduled to visit Armstrong for a half-day group visit and grades 4-8 will be scheduled to visit for two consecutive days.
  • Step 5: Meet with the Director of Admissions

    Brian Barish, Director of Admissions, will contact you to schedule a meeting.
Note: Send copies only of documents, e.g. testing, reports, etc., as they will become the property of Armstrong. Your documents will not be duplicated or forwarded to third parties.
