Performing Arts
The Performing Arts Program at Armstrong is a dynamic and integral part of the student experience, designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and bring academic learning to life through authentic expression. Students are encouraged to discover their voices, develop their talents, and collaborate in meaningful and joyful ways.
In Lower School, students in grades 1–5 take center stage in the annual Winter Program—an engaging, integrated celebration of music and movement that highlights both individual growth and collective achievement. The entire school community also comes together each year for the Talent Show, a spirited event that showcases the diverse passions, skills, and creativity of Armstrong students.
The program culminates in the highly anticipated, school-wide Spring Musical—an ambitious production often staged in a professional theater. This immersive experience invites students to take part in every aspect of performance and production. Middle School students step into leading roles on stage, while younger students contribute as chorus performers, bringing energy and enthusiasm to large ensemble numbers. Behind the scenes, the Stage Crew designs and constructs sets and props while managing technical elements, offering valuable opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and leadership.
