Building Partnerships in Education

68% of teachers working with students with learning differences reported feeling not very well prepared to address their students’ needs. (Source: National Center for Educational Statistics)

Fact:
15%-20% of the students in our schools have specific language processing disabilities.

THE CHALLENGE

Are teachers at your school grappling with how to support the struggling students in their classrooms? Do you see students in your own class that you know need help, but you’re not quite sure of the best way to help them?

It is essential that mainstream classroom teachers become more aware of how to better identify students in their classrooms with learning differences, such as dyslexia. Teachers need to know and practice strategies and interventions they can integrate into their daily instruction that will support these students.

THE SOLUTION

We can help you!

For over 38 years Charles Armstrong School has become locally and nationally recognized for its success in helping students with language processing issues develop needed language skills. We would like to come alongside you and share proven strategies and interventions that work for these students.

Awareness Workshop
When you schedule an Awareness Workshop for your school, you are providing your teachers with workable strategies and interventions that work with struggling students.
Length: About two hours
Materials: Each teacher attending the workshop receives a comprehensive packet of information including strategies and interventions that work
Fee: $10/participant that covers the cost of the materials
