Our Community Fundraiser Now Online!

Dear Armstrong Families and Friends,

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, Armstrong's transition to "At Home Learning" and the recent County Health Departments' recommendations to cancel all non-essential events, Armstrong has decided to cancel the in-person portion of Cougar Pawlooza! at the California Academy of Science on March 28th. We know this is disappointing. The focus now shifts to how we can fundraise online and also recoup some of the expense that goes into hosting our event.

The silent auction, all live auction packages, and our critical Fund-a-Need will be online. Timing and details to come.

This was an incredibly difficult decision. The funds raised at the Cougar Pawlooza! Community Fundraiser are crucial for our school and students. We also know how beloved this annual event is to our community, but ultimately health and well-being take precedence. We are confident that our caring community will rise to the occasion to help ensure we are still able to raise the funds that are required to support our amazing Armstrong program.

We are asking everyone to join us full-force in our online fundraising event and will be reaching out with more details in the coming week. We have some very special items this year and hope that you will participate in our virtual event from the comfort and safety of your homes.

If you have purchased a ticket for Cougar Pawlooza!, we would be happy to convert your purchase to a donation. If you would prefer a refund, please contact us.

Thank you to Cheri Jaunich, our Auction Chair, and all the volunteers and staff for their countless hours spent planning what would have been an amazing event.

I want to thank all of you for your commitment during this challenging period. During times like these, the strength of our community shines. It has never been more evident just how much "Cougars Care."

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at

Again, thank you so much for understanding, and we look forward to your participation in Cougar Pawlooza! Online.
